High light shielding black masterbatch for food packaging is a functional masterbatch based on polyethylene (PE) with added carbon black and calcium carbonate fillers. The carbon black content is approximately 40%. This product meets food contact safety standards, remains stable during processing and use, and releases no harmful substances. It is suitable for the production of food packaging, lunch boxes, and related products. Its key features are its uniform coloring and stable dispersion, which imparts strong light-blocking properties to packaging products, helping to prevent food quality degradation due to light exposure and thus extending the shelf life of food.
This black masterbatch significantly enhances the temperature resistance and mechanical properties of food packaging materials, ensuring that packaging bags maintain good structural stability in high and low temperature environments and possess a certain degree of puncture resistance. This performance not only ensures that the packaging is not easily damaged during transportation and storage, but also better protects the food contents. Furthermore, the product is resistant to aging, preventing embrittlement or performance degradation over time.
